DongleDirect works similar as GbbConnect2: it connect GbbOptimizer with Inverter but without installing any software on local network. With DongleDirect you redirect Dongle to GbbOptimizer serwer and this serwer (if you want) copy these data to Solarman servers in both direction.
How to configure DongleDirect:
1. Rememeber name of you GbbOptimizer server from interner browser address (eg. gbboptimizer5.gbbsoft.pl)
2. Login to you Dongle (you need to know its IP address on your local network, user: admin, password: admin)
3. change page to <dongle ip>/config_hide.html (manually change it on interner browser address)
4. make a screenshot of all settings on this page
5. change 'Server A Setting':
- remove IP address
- remember Domain name from Server A settings
- change ServerA Domain name to your server of GbbOptimizer
- Port: 10000
- Connection: TCP
- Save and Restart
6. Change 'Optional Server Setting' to the same data + Save + Restart
7. In GbbOptimizer: Change Plant type to DongleDirect (or create new plant)
8. In Plant settings setup:
- your inverter serial number
- your dongle serial number (only digits)
- your ServerA original Domain Name (if you leave this field empty then GbbOptimizer will not copy data to Solarman, so Solarman/DeyeCloud will stop working)
9. Save and wait minimum 2-5 minutes (Dongle connect to GbbOptimizer serwer after 2-5 minutes)
10. In log should see such rows similar to:
2025-06-21 11:00:27: From Dongle: A501001047F585579AF6A5005E15
2025-06-21 11:00:28: From Server: A50A001017F685579AF6A50001AB745668780000008E15
